Method

Megapixels = (width×height)/1e6. Aspect reduces by GCD. Base64 uses standard alphabet on file bytes.

Assumptions

  • Deterministic arithmetic.
  • Optional print DPI is user-supplied.
  • No cloud image API.

Questions

Does this edit pixels?

The size tool is arithmetic. Base64 encodes bytes; it does not resample.

Is EXIF required?

No. These pilots do not require or strip EXIF unless you use the en-US metadata tool.
